Sacred sexuality has been surrounded by mysticism, taboos, and misinformation throughout history. From the idea that pleasure is an obstacle on the spiritual path to the belief that only through certain rituals can one attain higher states of consciousness, many notions need to be revisited from a more conscious and loving perspective.
